Getting to and understanding our canal maps
All links have 'Tool Tips' saying where the link goes to. To see these hover your mouse on the link.
- Drilling down from the map of the waterways of Great Britain
- Go to the map of the
waterways of Great Britain.
- Click on an area of the map to drill down to the waterways for that area.
- Click on a waterway to go to that waterway.
- The map of a waterway shows the greatest available detail.
- Use your browser's BACK button
- Continue to the next map in the direction shown:
'Up'
'Down'
'Left'
'Right'
- To change to a different year select this from the 'Select Year' drop down box and then click the button.
- Using the 'Waterways Selection Menu'
- Go to the menu.
- The maps are organised alphabetically
- See where we are and where we have been on the maps. Open a new window for how to do this.
